Green mountain soul rocker Bow Thayer and his band Perfect Trainwreck are set to release a live recording of the critically-acclaimed full-length album "Eden" on Earth Day, April 22, 2014. "Eden: Live at the Chandler", the band’s fourth release, documents a hard-driving, energetic performance of the previously released Eden album in its entirety. Old fans and new listeners alike will be transported to Chandler Music Hall in Randolph, VT on January 19, 2013 where Bow Thayer and Perfect Trainwreck played to a packed house.

"Eden: Live at the Chandler" marks a milestone in the storied career of singer and songwriter Bow Thayer, praised by American Songwriter as “the best artist to come from New England in recent years”. Not only is the upcoming release Thayer’s first ever live album, it marks the first time he played "Eden" for a live audience and also documents one of his last performances with Perfect Trainwreck as he moves forward with a new cast of musicians.

"Eden", written almost entirely on a five-string electric banjo and co-produced by Grammy Award winning engineer Justin Guip, was released last year to widespread critical acclaim. Described by one reviewer as “not an album many people outside of Jim James would be willing to try”, Bow Thayer’s "Eden" is an observation of society’s self-inflicted wounds. Despite lyrical themes detailing man’s degradation of the planet, Eden provides listeners with hope for the future. In keeping with the lyrical themes of the album and Bow Thayer’s environmental sensibility, "Eden: Live at the Chandler" will be released to the public on Earth Day, April 22, 2014.

In addition to "Eden: Live at the Chandler" this coming April, Bow Thayer is gearing up to release video footage from the Chandler Music Hall show and a concept video directed by Sera Timms. Later this month, Bow Thayer will enter his studio, The Woodshed, with Justin Guip to record the eagerly anticipated follow-up studio album to "Eden".
