about

Another instrumental, this one featuring the bombastic elegance of Jeff Berlin’s drumming. There is a sense of urgency poking through this piece. The title comes from a text sent by my eldest son to his girlfriend during his first encounter with Psilocybin mushrooms. It is hilarious to talk about now but at the time he must have been terrified - he actually typed “Purple tree frogs are trying to kill me.” My own experience has told me that this particular molecule is sent to “kill” our own ego which I believe could be a huge boon to not only our personal enlightenment, but to the development of civilization as a whole.
