Once I met a girl from a far off land
whose tongue was as quick as the gypsy’s hand
She tried to take my heart from with under my head
her words were like weapons, I had no defense

Many months later I was walking around
looking for the place where my heart might be found
It rode in on lightning in the chill of the night
it seems she had taken it out for a joy ride

So I went to see the man in the suit of all white
who told me I might need to start a new life
I said you just a figment, a vision , a thought
he said you’re correct and gave me back my heart

But my heart it wasn’t what it once was
it ticked like a time bomb ready to go off
I tried to put it back underneath my head
then it just exploded, you just can’t predict.
